Jessica Queller

TV Writer & Executive Producer @ WB

Jessica is a TV writer/executive producer, author, and women’s health advocate. In 2003, while writing on Gilmore Girls, Jessica tested positive for the BRCA1 genetic mutation, otherwise known as The Breast Cancer Gene. Jessica is a single-mother-by-choice, and is a proud modern, career woman and single mother – balancing it all.

Christine Horner, MD

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Horner is a nationally recognized surgeon, author, professional speaker and relentless champion for women’s health. Dr. Horner spearheaded legislation in the 1990s that made it mandatory that insurance companies pay for breast reconstruction following mastectomy. Her 5 years crusade–The Breast Advocacy Project–led to the passage of laws in 35 states and a federal law in 1998.

John Link, MD

Medical Oncologist & Founder @ Breastlink

Dr. Link is the founder of Breastlink and a leading medical oncologist dedicated to the care of women with breast cancer. Dr. Link conducts research, writes books, lectures and delivers optimal care to his patients. His book, “The Breast Cancer Survival Manual,” is the most widely read book for newly diagnosed women.

Richard Frieder, MD

Gynecologic Oncology & Clinical Cancer Genetics

Dr. Richard Frieder is a medical genetics doctor in Santa Monica, California and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center, and St. John’s Margie Peterson Breast Center in Santa Monica. He received his medical degree from University of California Davis School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Mehdi Kebria, MD

Gynecologic Oncologist @ City of Hope

Mehdi M. Kebria, M.D. is board-certified in gynecologic oncology and obstetrics and gynecology and specializes in ovarian, cervical, vulvar and uterine cancers. As an accomplished clinician, Dr. Kebria has expertise in advanced robotic surgery and the use of cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC in the treatment of gynecologic cancers. Prior to City of Hope, Dr. Kebria served as director of robotic surgery and director of quality and patient safety at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Tara Sheridan, MD

Anesthesiologist @ United Pain Center

Dr. Sheridan is a decorated veteran and board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. As a Department of Defense subject matter expert in pain medicine, she presented at numerous national conferences, and authored several book chapters and peer reviewed journal articles.

Jeanett Castellanos, Ph.D.

Social Science Director @ UCI

Dr. Castellanos’ areas of research include Latina/o student coping, cultural values and identity, and spirituality and well-being. She has two edited volumes addressing Latina/o pyschosociocultural experiences in higher education and has co-authored a model of Latina women coping and wellness processes in the field of Latina/o Psychology.

Joanna Morales, Esq.

CEO @ Triage Cancer

Joanna is a cancer rights attorney, author, speaker, and CEO of Triage Cancer, a national nonprofit organization connecting people to cancer survivorship information and resources through a national speakers bureau, educational events, and online tools. Joanna has spent more than twenty years working on behalf of individuals with cancer.

Monique Tiffany

Oncology Regional Specialist @ Myriad Genetics

Monique Tiffany is an oncology and genetics trained nurse from Huntington Beach, CA. She has worked as a breast cancer nurse navigator and high risk program coordinator and is currently a Regional Medical Specialist for Myriad Genetics. She is a triple negative BRCA1+ breast cancer survivor celebrating 16 years cancer free this year.

Denise Lohman

Registered Dietitian & Oncology Nutrition Specialist @ Hoag Family Cancer Institute

Denise is part of a multidisciplinary team that works with patients at time of diagnosis, throughout the course of their treatment, recovery and beyond. She has participated in numerous studies to help develop programs to improve the cancer patient’s tolerance of treatment and enhance their quality of life after treatment has ended.

Christina Ruvalcaba

Registered Dietitian

​Christina Ruvalcaba is a registered dietitian, empowering health and fitness coach, and lover of wholesome nutrition, passionate about helping others find food freedom and nourish their body well. She’s currently a public health nutritionist for Riverside County and health and fitness entrepreneur. 

Beth Baus, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a MS in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. Ms Baus has a private family practice in California, has authored several books, speaks on counseling issues around the world, and is the founder of OurHealthyFamilies.org.
